Schmidt's Bakery Field Trip

 We got to go on a field trip of Schmidt's Bakery with MacRae's preschool class this month.  Neither one of us had ever been there so it was fun to try something new.  MacRae loves to cook, so he was so excited to go.  They took us on a tour of the kitchen first and showed us the big mixers and ovens.  We then got to see them decorating cakes.

 We then got to go inside of the fridges and freezers.  All the little kids were screaming about how cold it was.

 Here is where the dishwashers are.  They use so much frosting that they mix them in these huge garbage cans.  MacRae thought it was so funny that they would put it in a garbage can, and then put it in the dishwasher.

 After the tour was over we all got a cookie.  Here is MacRae sitting with his buddy Cole.

 This was one of MacRae's favorite field trips, maybe because he got to pick out some treats to take home from this huge selection.  We had planned on bringing Teagan and Peyton with us, but Peyton woke up with a red eye so instead they hung out with Aunt Ninny.  The dessert's were delicious and MacRae keeps talking about going back for lunch.  Such a handsome little guy.
