MacRae's 5th Birthday Party

MacRae woke up bright and early on his Birthday, so we decided to open presents before Daddy went to work.  He was so excited to see what they were.
Batman Lego's, just what he asked for.
Apparently Teagan thought this was pretty funny when her and Peyton were cuddling with Daddy while watching MacRae open his gifts.
I was told that I was the "Best Mom Ever", followed by "Lets build them".

That afternoon MacRae got to spend the day with Grandma Heather all by himself.  They went to McDonald's and played on the play place, followed by a trip to the Aquarium, where he got to pick out a cool truck souvenir.  He was so excited to go with just Grandma.

He then got to pick where he wanted to eat dinner and who he wanted to come.  His choice was Texas Roadhouse, since he loves to throw peanuts on the floor, and of course both sets of Grandparents were invited.

After we ate they then let the Birthday Boy sit on a saddle while they sang Happy Birthday to him, and then gave him ice cream.  Such a fun night!
The next day we had a Birthday Party for MacRae.  He wanted a Star Wars Lego's party and had a specific list of guests he wanted to attend.  Thanks Lauren for yet another darling invitation.
I searched all over to find a Star Wars cake and finally found one at Sam's club.  MacRae loved that there were cupcakes with light sabres and had to have a few tastes of it before the party started.

I have a picture of him holding balloons on his birthday ever year.  It is amazing to see how big he has gotten.
We rented a bounce house and popcorn maker for the big event.  The company we rented them messed up our order so we ended up with two bounce houses for the price of one.  Which was good, because there were a lot of kids.
Stu picked them up while MacRae was at school so when he got home we let him flip the switch to blow it up.  He was so excited and could not believe that they were really at his house.  He jumped on them all day before the party started.
Teagan and Peyton hung out inside with their cousin Alec for a while.
 Kaiya, Trevor, Porter and MacRae.

We also had a very special guest that we invited to the party.  Here are all the kids waiting for his arrival.
It was none other that Darth Vadar himself.  MacRae was in shock when he saw him walk into the backyard, and had no idea what to think.  It took him a second to want to go up to him, but then he was all about it.
Darth Vadar brought blow up light sabres for all of the kids.  We then let all the kids take turns fighting him and getting their pictures taken with him.

MacRae could not get enough of him.

 All our friends and family.
Then it was time to open presents.  MacRae was completely spoiled with Lego's, Guns, Water Toys and a scooter from Grandma and Papa Flockhart.
MacRae and Ella
MacRae, Hendrix, Lily and Robbie
MacRae and all his friends were so excited about the cupcakes and could not wait to get one.  We sang Happy Birthday to MacRae and he blew out all his candles. Then the kids all went outside to eat their cupcakes and play some more.  That night MacRae kept telling us that it was the best party and that we were the best parents.  We love this little guy so much, and we were so glad that he was so happy with his party, and that the weather cooperated. Thanks for all that came and brought gifts.  We are so lucky to have so many people that love our and support our little family.  Happy Birthday Crae!  We hope all you wishes come true!!!
