Our 5 Year Old Boy

I cannot believe that this handsome little boy is already 5.  It seriously seems that we just barely brought him home from the hospital.  The birth of this little boy changed my whole life.  He gave me the one gift that I wanted for so long, and that was to be a Mother.  I will never forget the first time I felt him move inside my stomach, and I knew that he would be a healthy Baby Boy.  I have never felt such a close bond with someone than I do with him.  We got to spend 4 years together just the two of us, and I will never forget all the memories that we have made.

This boy is such an amazing big brother.  He loves his sisters so much, and never complains about them.  One day his cousins were over and MacRae thought that his cousin called his sister "Fat".  He got so mad and was yelling at his cousin, and told him he was going to punch him in the eye.  I only heard him threatening his cousin so I got upset with him that he would say that to someone.  He then explained to me what happened, and I have never been so proud.  Look out anyone that crosses his sisters.

MacRae is a very fun and active kid, that loves to play and play outside.  He loves anything that is make believe, or that he can dress up.  He is very into Legos right now, and loves to build them and play all sorts of different things with them.  He loves his Grandparents, and loves hanging out with them.  He loves to play cops and robbers with his Grandma Sheri and Old Maid with his Grandma Heather.  His favorite shows right now are: Scooby Doo, He-Man, Agent Oso, Dispicable Me, How to Train Your Dragon, Wallace and Grommit, and random shows he finds on Netflix.  A few of his best friends and Tanner, Brody and Gage, and Cole.  He is playing Baseball again this year, and is doing amazing and loves every minute of it.

Some of his favorite foods are:  Popcorn, Chicken and Pasta, French Fries, Gogurts, Broccolii, Green Beans, Cheetos, and Candy.  He is a very good eater, and we haven't found much that he doesn't like.  He is an amazing sleeper, and goes to bed at around 8pm until 7:30 am the next morning.  We have loved getting to know this boy these last 5 years, and can't wait to see what he accomplishes in the years to come.  Happy Birthday Buddy.  We love you more than you will ever know.
