Our little Teagan is such a sweetheart. She is still so mellow and will just play on the floor with her toys by herself. She is also very funny. She makes all kinds of funny faces throughout the day. Her nickname has become Lu-Lu. We all call her that, and I think it totally fits her with her little tiny face and body. She loves to ride on her little car that she got from Grandma Sheri and Papa Steve. Her big brother gives her rides all the time.
She is loving her big girl car seat once she is in it and the car is going. She cries at first but then settles down once she realizes we are all getting in with her. Teagan has also started to talk a while lot more. She says Da-Da and Ma-Ma and then just a bunch of gibberish.
This month Teagan has made some big milestones. She has finally learned how to pull herself up on things and will stand by herself. It took her a long time to be confident enough to do it on her own, but now she is all about it since she learned she can get to a lot more things. She has even started to try and walk while holding on to furniture. She also has learned to roll her eyes. She does it when we are looking at her and then she smiles and laughs. Such a silly girl.
Another funny thing that she does is whistle. She blows in and out over and over again and make little whistling noises. It is seriously one of the cutest things. Teagan is for sure still a Daddy's girl. She gets so excited the minute he walks in the door from work, and tries to get to him as fast as she can. She is our little snuggler too, with her sweet little personality. But she does have a feisty side, and will let us all know when we are doing something she doesn't like!
Our little Peyton has such a personalty. She is always the life of the party and has to be wherever the action is. She loves her new car seat, and loves that she can sit up better and see out the windows.
Peyton had totally started walking this month. At first she would take at least or 5 steps and then just fall down and crawl since it is faster. She now is up to at least 8 or 9 before she gives up to crawl. It is so cute to see her little chubby legs waddling around. She absolutely loves her car, and will climb on and off of it over and over. We have also put Teagan sitting on it and Peyton will walk behind her and push it.
Peyton also is quite the explorer. She gets into everything, so we have started closing all the doors to keep her out of things. She loves to climb into drawers and baskets. This month she has also started to say a few more words. She can say Da-Da, Ma-Ma, Puppy, Bye-Bye, Papa, and what we think sounds like Crae-Crae. It is so cute to her her little voice.
She has also started to like her blanket over her head when she goes to sleep. We put it on her head like this and then she lays down with it, and holds it over her face. She is so funny. Peyton has also stopped crying as much as she used too. I think now that she is learning to walk she is a lot more content. She is still an a amazing sleeper and never wakes up in the night. we love this silly little girl and her big personality.
It is so hard to watch them get older, but so fun to watch them experience and learn so many new things.
