Our sweet little babies are already 2 months old. It has been a tough two months, but so worth it. Just seeing the two of them sleeping in their beds together melts your heart, and reminds me of how big of a miracle they are. If you lay them down next to each other, even if they are sound asleep they will somehow find each others skin or scoot to be closer to one another.
They are still sleeping in the same crib with one another for the short amount of time they are sleeping. We are having to still feed them every 3 hours, and they are finally putting on weight and are almost back to the original birth weights. Most parents never have to pray for their children to gain weight, but that has been our constant prayer these last 2 months.
Peyton is such a sweet little baby she hardly ever cries, unless she is hungry. She is pretty content to sit in her bouncer, or swing and just watch what is going on.
This is MacRae's favorite picture of her. He thinks that she looks like a Ninja, and asks us to wrap her up like this all the time.
Peyton is handling the formula just fine. She is a great eater, and only spits up sometimes.
She loves her Daddy, and her favorite place to take a nap is on his chest in the rocking chair.
She is really starting to love her baths. She will just sit there and stare up at you like she is waiting for something exciting to happen. I love her sweet little cheek's, and her big eyes that light up when she sees me.
We have also found our self a new little bed bug!!!
Our little Teagan is such a sweet little baby. She is quite timid, and scares very easily. She has a hard time with her formula. We have tried a couple different ones, but they don't seem to have lessened her spitting up. Even though she spits up a lot, she is starting to put weight back on.
She is a pretty good sleeper, but loves to be anywhere near her sister.
Teagan is such a snugly baby. She loves to be held really tight, and loves bare skin. She will just cuddled right up under your neck, and stick her hand down your shirt to find a warm spot.
She is getting better with her baths, as long as it is quick. Since she is so small she gets cold very easily, and does not appreciate her clothes on.
She loves to cuddle in our bed.
These sweet babies are such a joy to have in our family. It feels like they have always been here. MacRae is adjusting pretty well. He likes them from a distant and is not too fond of holding them, but he does like to check out their little ears and hands. He is such a sweet big brother. I cannot wait to see him interact with them when they get a little older.
