To start off the Easter weekend we went to Grandma Sheri and Papa Steve's for an Easter Egg hunt and dinner. For some reason I didn't take any pictures of us or the girls. MacRae had a blast with all his cousins. He got a load of candy and eggs and money. We were spoiled as usual, and had a delicious dinner.
MacRae and Sophie waiting with all the cousins to start the hunt!
This Easter the Easter bunny was very sneaky in where he hid MacRae's basket. Luckily he told Mommy where it was so she could offer some clues. MacRae thought it was so funny that it was in the Dryer.
MacRae loved his new Imaginex Planes, and candy.
We decided since it was Easter that we would brave it and take the girls to church. Since they are still very small we came late, sat in the very front row, left them in their car seats the whole time, and snuck out early. Teagan and Peyton were still wearing preemie clothes, so we didn't have any dresses that fit, but they still looked adorable.
Daddy and his beautiful kids.
Mommy and her 3 sweet babies.
After church we dyed some Easter eggs. This is the first year we have done this, and MacRae could not get enough.
These 2 little angels just sat cuddled and kept each other warm, while watching what was going on.
We colored more than a dozen eggs, and MacRae still wanted to do more. By the end they eggs were kind of the same color, because MacRae kept putting them in different cups over again. What a little sweetheart. So excited about everything.
We ended the day with an Easter egg hunt and Grandma Heathers and Papa Drew's, and got spoiled again with lots of candy and a delicious dinner. On days like this it makes me so grateful that we have so much family so close by to spend holidays with.
