We had our annual Tripp Family Christmas party with the entire Tripp family side. It always starts out with dinner and then the Big Man himself comes. This year MacRae was so excited to see him, and sit on his lap. He was so excited that he wouldn't even eat, and if you know this little boy he likes food. Here he is waiting so patiently for his turn. The sweet little guy would clap and give all his cousins a thumbs up when it was there turn.
Our baby sisters even got a present this year, so me and Macrae went to claim it for them. I am 23 weeks along in this picture.
Then it was finally his turn. He just ran up there and climbed up on his lap all by himself. He was so excited to tell him that he wanted a guitar, and double hoop, and a laser (still not sure on what this was). He got a little nervous to tell him what he wanted, but in the end he let him know.
Carrying his big present.
Papa kept telling him that he could hear something in there, so they were both listening.
The tradition is that you have to wait until everyone gets their present, before you can open yours. Well this year MacRae was so patient and waited until it was his turn. We wish Daddy had that much restraint, but he opened the babies present of adorable clothes, blankets, and bows before anyone else.
This is what Santa brought for MacRae. I tried to get him in the picture to, but he just wanted his four-wheeler in it by itself.
I look forward to this party every year, since we have been going every year before I was even born. It is so important to me to have traditions, and this is defiantly one we will never miss out on. I love my family so much, and it is fun to get together with all of them.
