On Thursday we went on a little field trip to Temple Square. We rode Trax there, and MacRae loved it. He just sat in his seat staring out the window eating his popcorn. Every time we had to stop he would say "Get on people", and then "Move train." He just kept telling me over and over again that he was riding on the "Choo Choo". It was so cute to watch him be so excited. The highlight of the ride, was when a hippy in a wheel chair got on. This man had a ratty looking little dog on his lap named Lady. MacRae couldn't get over the fact that there was a puppy on the train. Luckily I talked him out of touching it, for fear of rabies.

We walked around temple square and saw all the beautiful flowers, buildings, and fountains. MacRae had to throw a penny into every fountain we passed. We then went into the visitors center to see the Christus. MacRae loved walking up the long ramp to get to it. He kept pointing out all of the stars, and the moon. It was so amazing to see his little face light up as soon as he saw Jesus. He stood there still for a minute and then yelled, "Mommy Jesus." It made me feel so proud as a mother knowing that I have taught this little boy who Jesus is, and that he is able to recognize him. After getting his picture taken in front of him, I told him it was time to go. We started walking down the ramp, and then MacRae turned around and yelled " Bye-Bye Jesus." It was a bit irreverent since they were giving a talk to a bunch of Chinese people, but very sweet.

Here's MacRae waiting for the Train, making a call to Papa.
