Teagan and Peyton 18 Months
I honestly thought we would never make it to a year and a half, but on the other hand it has gone by way too fast. Peyton is such a joy to be around. She is talking so much. She absolutely loves to go outside and cries when we make her come in. She loves Stoggie too. She calls him all the time, but when he gets close to her she cries or runs away.
She is very coordinated and can push and ride her cars all around the yard. When we took her in this month for her well check she weighed 27.7 lbs and was 33.1 inches long and her head measured 18.7 inches. She is in the 90 percentile for weight and 88 for height. She went from 1% at birth to above average by 18 months and is perfectly healthy.
She has slowed down on her eating these days and has slimmed down a little bit since she has become so mobile. She is still totally obsessed with shoes and wears MacRaes whenever she can get her hands on them.
Peyton loves her new pink cowgirl boots and wants to wear them everyday. She also loves to just be in her diaper and take her clothes off. Any time she gets naked she wants to get in the tub and cries when she has to get out. If we could only get her to stop pooping in the tub she might get to spend more time in there.
She has also started coloring this month. She has to always have a book about puppies and we are working on not eating the crayons.
Our little Teagan is quiet, but she does have quite the personality. MacRae calls her the hulk, because one minute she is happy and the next she freaks out. She loves to be outside and loves to play in her car and open and shut the door.
Every time we are outside she has to get her little lawn chair out and lay in it. It is so cute to watch her lay there. She looks like a little old lady taking a break. When we took her to the doctor this month for her well check she weighed 23.4 lbs and was 31.1 inches long and her head measured 19.1 inches. She is in the 38 percentile for weight and 34 percentile for height. She has gone from 0% to 38% in 18 months which is pretty amazing for how small she was and how hard it was for her to gain weight. She finally got off of her preemie watch this month since she has made so much progress in weight and development. I knew she could do it, she just needed a little extra time.
She also loves her brothers shoes. One day she wanted to wear his soccer cleats to breakfast and all day after. She also loves her binky and would suck it all day if we let her, so we have started having her leave it in her bed unless she really needs it.
She has such a funny personality and makes the cutest faces. Teagan loves any toy that is MacRaes, especially guys and anything that makes noises. MacRae is a very good big brother and either lets her play with his toys or he plays with her.
Teagan loves to color too, and we have discovered she is a lefty. She has always preferred eating with her left, but she now always colors with her left hand too.
They both think it is so funny to lay on their little couch together. They just lay there and laugh at each other.
