Scarecrow Festival @ WestRidge

MacRae brought a flier home from school about the Scarecrow Festival at WestRidge Academy.  It said that admission was free so since it is behind our house we thought we would check it out and if it was dumb then we weren't out anything.

It was one of the cutest things.  It was all free and there was so many things for the kids to do.

The had a bunch of different bounce houses set up for the kids to play in.  Peyton loved to crawl in and out of them over and over again.

Teagan just crawled in and sat in the back and laughed at all the kids jumping around her.  Her big brother was pretty protective about other kids getting close to her.

We had the hardest time getting her out in the end.

Another thing they had was a rocket launch.  They had pre-made rockets that the kids could then pick what color fins and what color they wanted to color them.  They then put them on these pipes that were hooked up to an air compressor and then pushed a button and shot them off.  MacRae could not get enough of this and would shoot it off and then run and get it and do it over and over again.

We love some good carnival food.

They had lots of carnival games for the kids.  After they played a game they got a ticket that they could turn in for a prize.

MacRae got to rock climb for the first time and made it half way up all by himself.

We ended the day with the Tower of Terror.  Our little climber made it all the way to the top.  Such a fun day that was all free.  We will for sure be going again next year.
