I love Fathers Day, because I have been blessed with amazing Fathers in my life. The first Father I am grateful for is my husband. This man was meant to be a Father. He had to wait a long time to finally become one, and has been the best one I have ever seen. Stu loves his children with all his heart (which is huge) and they love him. I love this picture of the girls so tiny in his big strong arms. Stu has been the only one who has been able to calm our children down. No matter which one it was, straight from birth they have always found comfort in his arms, over anyones.
Stuart works so hard to take care of us, and give us everything we could ever need or want. Stuart is the type of person that what you see is what you get. This one of my favorite qualities that he posses. He is also one of the best friends I have ever known. Once he is your friend he will be there for you forever. No matter how long of a day he has, he always comes home excited to see us and play with the kids.
Not only is Stuart a great father, but he is an amazing husband too. He puts up with a lot from me, and still loves me. He has such a funny personality. I laugh at him all the time.
The other Father is my own Dad. I love and admire this man so much. He is such a fun person to be around, and constantly keeps me laughing. My Dad taught us at a very young age to work hard, and to take care of the things we had. I have taken this lesson to heart and am trying to teach it to my children. Growing up there was never a time that I went without anything. My Dad worked long hours to provide for my large family, but always made a point to be home for family dinner, and ask us about our day. Growing up I always new that my Dad was proud of me and loved, because he always told me. All three of my children have loved my Dad from the second they met him, and I know the feelings were mutual. I am so lucky to have such amazing men in my life, and such positive loving Father figures for my children. Happy Fathers Day you both deserve it.
