When MacRae and I found out that Toy Story On Ice was coming to town, we were both so excited. Stu offered to stay at home with the ladies so it was just Mommy and her special little boy. I told MacRae we could go anywhere he wanted for dinner, so he picked Texas Roadhouse (because he likes to throw peanuts on the floor.) After a delicious dinner we hoped on Trax and rode it to the Arena.
We have never been to any of the Ice Shows, so we had no idea what to expect. We for sure were not disappointed it was seriously one of the cutest things I have seen. MacRae loved the fact that the Army Men parachuted onto the ice, and could not get enough of them marching and ice skating.
Buzz Light Year came out with rockets, and flew around the arena. MacRae kept asking me if they were the real characters and I told him yes. He then told me that he didn't know they knew how to Ice skate, and that he needed to learn how.
At Intermission I let MacRae pick a souvenir. He was so excited to buy the Buzz arm, since it shoots a laser out and sounds just like Buzz's in the movie. He wore it for the rest of the show, all the way home, and slept with it.
We loved seeing all the characters from Toy Story 3, especially Lotso and Ken.
I am the luckiest Mom in the world to be able to spend so much time with this amazing little boy. I love him so much, and he is truly my best friend!!!
