Tripp Family Birthday Party
Our little girls are lucky enough to share a Birthday with Papa Steve. So they also got to have a joint Birthday Party, at my parents house. They were turning one and he was turning 70. I think he looks pretty amazing. Here is Peyton with Papa and Tanner.

Teagan cuddling Uncle Steve.
The ladies got spoiled as usual. They got a bunch of new summer clothes, toys, books, ride along, and a swing set from Grandma and Papa.
All of their cousins and Aunts and Uncles were there to celebrate. Even the Ficklins were able to make it to the big bash.
This is the funniest gift they got. The Ficklins brought it here for them all the way from Idaho. It cracks me up every time I see the two of them sitting on it. Which they do daily. Even MacRae has taken a liking to it!

Peyton with her own little cake. She was all about it from the beginning. One taste and she was hooked. She ate at it for a few minutes and then had a break down, because she was tired and covered in frosting. A Bath in Grandmas sink and clean pajamas and she was a lot better.Teagan was a little unsure about it to begin with, as you can tell from the look on her face. She touched it for a minute or so, and then finally took a taste. She loved the way the frosting tasted and was content to play in it for a while.
Of course we had to get Papa Steve his own cake too. Here he is eating it himself. My girls are so lucky to share a Birthday with such an amazing man. My Dad has always been there for me and my family, and is willing to do anything for us. We love you so much Papa. Hope you had a fabulous Birthday.
Flockhart Family Birthday Party
Since Stu went out of town the night of the girls Birthday, we had another party with the Flockharts when he got back on Thursday. This one was at our house and almost everyone was able to come. They got their own cakes one pink and one purple.
The girls of honor in the decorated high chairs waiting for their cake.
Teagan loved the candle that was lit on top of her cake. I love this little face. She looks so excited. Since this was her second cake she knew more of what to do with it and dug right in.Peyton loved the candle also, and as soon as it was blown out she went right for it, and tried to give it a little taste.
They dug right into the cakes, even before we could cut them a piece of their own.
Teagan was for sure a cleaner eater. She would just poke her little fingers into it and then suck off the frosting.
Peyton just went to town, and by the end was rubbing it all over in her hair.
We for sure needed baths after the pink and purple frosting, so our cousin Owen joined them in the sink. So cute!!
The girls were spoiled yet again. They got a bunch of new summer clothes and a new car seat from Grandma Heather and Papa Drew.
This is Teagan with her little kitten that she got from her big brother MacRae, and they have slept with them ever since.

I honestly can't believe it has already been a year. When I found out we were having twins I knew it would be hard, but I never realized how hard and rewarding it really would be. Not only have they learned a lot this last year. I have learned a lot about myself. I have learned how strong I really am, and that it is OK to ask for help, also that showering every day is a luxury, and how important sleep really is. I cannot imagine our lives without these two beautiful babies. When they came into our family they completed it, and it seems like they have always been here. To me they are not twins, they are two completely different little girls. Who look totally different and have totally different personalities, and I absolutely love that about them. I love you so much Teagan and Peyton. Thank you so much for picking me to be your Mommy!!!
