This little boy absolutely loves anything to do with Firefighters. He has been talking about this field trip since school started. We were lucky enough to go again this year. MacRae had the choice who he wanted to go with him, so he picked Mom and Dad. Our little girls got to have a fun day home with Aunt Becky. MacRae was so excited to be able to sit in the fire firetruck.

When we got dressed that morning MacRae was very adamant about wearing his Firefighter boots, jacket and helmet. He told me that Mrs Amber was going to think he was so cool, and that the firefighters were going to think he was one of them. He was a little embarrassed when we first got there, because everyone was telling him how cute he looked. But a few minutes later he was ready to go see the station.
He listened so intently while they were telling them about safety and showing them all the gear. Usually MacRae gets pretty quiet when he is in a big crowd, but today he raised his hand to tell the firefighters that he saw some fireman at breakfast a few days ago and that they got a call and had to leave without eating. He was pretty concerned that they didn't get to eat.
At the end of the tour he had to have his picture taken with a real Firefighter. What a sweet little boy.
