Every year we got to the Tripp family Christmas party. This is where all my dad's siblings and their kids and grandkids come. There are over 200 of my family members that are there. It is so fun to get to see everyone and see how big everyones children have gotten. I love that I now get to see my children sit on Santa's lap and get a gift, when I got to do it growing up. We missed dinner this year, beacause we had another party to go to before. But we arrived just in time to see Santa.
Teagan was totally fine sitting on Santa's lap. At first she didn't want to go to him, but once she was there she just avoided eye contact and she was fine.
Peyton was a little more daring and actually looked at him, and tried to pull on his beard.
MacRae was so excited and could not wait for his sisters to get done, so he could have a turn. He just ran up there as soon as he heard Santa call his name, and sat right on his lap. He then proceeded to tell him everything that he wanted. Luckily it was everything that he had told me he wanted.
Peyton was hanging with Kjirsten, so she let her open her present. She got her first baby doll. Such a sweet smile.
Teagan was just chilling with Becky when she got to open her present. She got her first baby doll too. She wasn't too sure of this party, since there were so many people.

My cute Dad had to have knee surgery a week before the party, because of a running injury. We weren't sure if he would make it, but were glad he got to come even if he was in wheel chair. By the end of the night he wasn't feeling very well so Teagan just cuddled with Papa where is was safe from all the people.
MacRae was so surprised that Santa brought him a Star Wars ships and some guys to go with it, since he forgot to tell him he wanted them!
It was such a fun night to spend with all of my family. I love the family traditions that we have, and I look forward to making some of our own.
