Home Depot Workshop

One of my friend's was telling me how cute the kids workshops at Home Depot were.  So MacRae and I headed down there Saturday morning in Dad's truck.  MacRae was so excited that he was eating his breakfast while dancing.
When we got there they gave him an apron to wear.
They gave him a kit and supplies to build a Valentine basket.  He had to use wood glue and nails to put it together and then he could paint it.  I was holding the nails so he could hammer it together, and he hammered my finger.  The little stink thought this was hilarious.
The Finished Project
MacRae was so particular about how to paint it and making sure he got all the spots covered.  I wonder where he gets his perfectionist from?
MacRae also wanted his picture with Leslie after she gave him a pin to go on his apron.
This is one of the cutest things we have been to.  They put so much effort in making it fun for the kids, and it is all free.  I love being able to have one on one time with this little sweetheart. Daddy was jealous he couldn't come, but he got a day with Teagan and Peyton to make up for it.  We are for sure going back next month.
