I was so excited about Christmas this year for a couple different reasons. This is the first year that MacRae has been really specific about what he wanted. In the years past he hasn't really remembered things that he wanted, so I just bought him things I knew he would like. This year he has been asking for the same things for the last few months, so I was so excited to give them to him. The other reason I was so excited was because it was Teagan and Peytons first Christmas. We all got up around 7 am, and then it was off to open gifts.
These two little girls were content with playing with their princesses that they got last night from Aunt Ninny, and watching their big brother open his gifts.
This little man got every thing he asked for. He got a remote control bat mobile, hot wheels wall track, Star Wars Lego's, bow and arrow, and his favorite thing of all a remote control helicopter.
Our handsome Daddy taking it all in.
These two little sweeties loved to play with the wrapping paper, and bows. They got a little peoples doll house and tree house, books, toys, and blocks. They love anything that makes a noise or lights up.
MacRae helped them umwrap some of their gifts, and open the boxes to get them some new toys to play with.
MacRae was so excited to buy his sisters presents. When I took him to the store, he knew exactly what he wanted to get them, Tiny Pillow Pets. A Butterfly for Peyton and a Cat for Teagan.
Grandma Heather came over early to watch the kids open their gifts and eat breakfast. Poor Papa Drew didn't make it since he was sick.
This year our goal was to try and teach MacRae about the true meaning of Christmas, so we were lucky this year that Christmas fell on a Sunday. I don't know of a better place to go on Christmas than to church. It was a perfect Sacrament meeting filled with the spirit.
So Precious!!!
After church Papa Steve and Grandma Sheri came over to see what we got. MacRae loves his Papa Steve so he cuddled up for some stories in his new bath robe.

We then headed to Papa Drews and Grandma Heathers for dinner and gifts. We were so spoiled this year. They are so thoughtful in the gifts that they give us, and we really appreciate all that they do for us.
Cute Grandma Heather had the kids put on a Nativity for all the adults. Peyton got to be one of the shepherd's, but wasn't so sure about leaving her towel on.
MacRae got to play Joseph, and Collin a Wise man.
Teagan was not the least bit interested in being part of the production, so she just cuddled with her cousin Megan.

We could not have asked for a more perfect Christmas. We are so lucky to have so much family around for the holidays. I don't know what we would do without all of them. Thanks to our parents for all they do for us, you honestly make our lives so much easier.
