Bringing Home The Babies

After 4 days in the hospital we finally got to bring our little babies home.  It is always stressful when they tell you that you can take your child or children home.  Both times I have panicked a little.  Now knowing that the pressure is all on me to take care of them, but I was so looking forward to being home and in my own bed.
Since they were so little, and had already lost a pound each we had to make sure to not let them sleep any longer than 3 hours without food, so we could try and get their weights up as soon as possible.  It seems as if all we do is feed them and change their diapers.

MacRae was not so sure about them.  He was OK to look at them, but did not want to hold them.  So after 5 days I finally was able to talk him into holding them for a least one picture.  MacRae doesn't mind Mommy holding the babies so much, but he has been needing some extra time with his Daddy.

In recovering from a C-Section nothing makes it better than cuddling in my bed with both of my sweet girls.

They are the most happy when they are squished next to each other, and feel one another skin, and breath on each other.
