The Living Planet Aquarium

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium for first time last week with the Campbell's.  Here are the crazy kids MacRae, Lily & Hendrix posing like frogs on a frog.  MacRae liked that he could just run from exhibit to exhibit with Hendrix.
This is Murray the Octopus.  We all could not get over how big this thing was.  It would just crawl up and down the tank over and over again.  I tried to get MacRae to take his picture in front of it, but he was terrified to stand next to it with his back turned.  Can't really blame him.  This was by far both of our favorite things, and worth the pricey admission just to see him.
They also had Sting Rays that you could touch.  MacRae  put his hand in at first and touched one of their tails, but got a little scared , so after that he just wanted to put his hands in the water and pretend that he was touching them. He had so much fun running around their tank following them as they would swim by
The penguin exhibit was really cute.  There was a big window that you could watch all of them dive in and swim around.  MacRae loved it when they would swim right next to the glass by him.  He kept telling me they were coming to say Hi to him.
It was a super fun day, and you can't go wrong hanging out with Campbell's!!

So fun! We go all the time. The membership is so worth it. You go 2.5x and it's covered. I love Murray the Octopus!

I love Octopus'! They are such interesting creatures to watch eat. Me and JJ went to the Seaside, OR aquarium and watched one swim around for like 45 mins. It's amazing how they change colors.

Then we did the same thing in Seattle. I think I was so intrigued because every time I see an Octopus in a tank it just sits there and sleeps. When they are active though? Awesome.

Fascinating stuff.
