MacRae's First Field Trip

I don't know who was more excited about MacRae's first field trip me or him.  I love having new experiences and taking him to new places, and got to go to Engh Gardens in Sandy for his first field trip.  MacRae has been so into Halloween since we put up our decorations last week, and was thrilled to go to the pumpkin patch.  This pirate ship was so cute and all the kids were able to climb on it at the same time.

There was a cute old guy that was our tour guide and told us some Halloween stories.  MacRae thought he was so funny because he kept spitting while he was telling stories, and just sat still the whole time listening to every word he said. 

We then went on a scavenger hunt through the nursery to find different things that were all pirate themed.  MacRae got so excited every time he found something on his list, and  had to put an X mark through it, and then would continue searching for the next thing.   Here is a picture with some kids from his class.

MacRae found this tractor while he was searching and had to get on and pretend to drive. 

The highlight of his trip was when he got to pick out his own pumpkin to take home.  He was so excited and searched and searched until he found the exact one he wanted.  We also were walking past some tiny little pumpkins, and when he saw them he said, " I need to get these for my babies."  He is so cute and has really started to warm up to the idea of his babies coming.  I am so lucky to have such a fun little guy to hang out with!!!
