What We Have Been Up To

Well it has been awhile since I have blogged.  Life has been a little crazy lately, and we have had a lot going on, but we have also done a bunch of fun things.

My handsome little handy man helped me paint the laundry room.  He is always so helpful anytime we have a project that we need to get done.  He saw me get out the paint, and he through off his shirt to come help me.  I cannot get enough of this little guy, and his cute farmer's tan!!!

We also took MacRae to the Drive-In for the first time, with the Lucero girls, and Ben & Stacy.  We borrowed Papa Steve's Big Red Truck and loaded it with a mattress and blankets.  MacRae could not get over that he was watching a movie outside, and in Grandpa's truck.  He also discovered that he could climb through the little window from the back to the front of the truck, and did this the entire first movie.  He did so amazing and was so happy to just be there and be with the girls.  We will definitely be going again before it gets cold.
I also turned 28th on the 3rd and had the best day ever.  Stu took me out on a hot date the weekend before so I wanted to spend my actually birthday with MacRae.  We decided to go to Incredible Pizza for the afternoon.
We started off with Mini Golf.  They had all of these cut-outs that you could get your pictures in, and I just couldn't resist.  I think we seriuosly have a professional golfer on our hands.  He loves to golf whether it is mini-golf, in the backyard, or at the golf course, and he is amazingly good for a 3 year old.
Me and MacRae rode the little Go-Carts.  We turned the corner and ran into some girl, and MacRae could not stop laughing, and telling me to bash into more cars.  We also played "Tiny Bowling" as MacRae calls it.  It was so funny to watch him through the tiny ball, with such a serious face.  He is such a sweet boy, and would tell us it was our turn, and when we couldn't hit all the pins down with the first ball he had to finish it for us.  We ended the day with playing Arcade games, and stopping for a slurpee on the way home.  It was the best birthday ever.

Turning another year older always makes me reflect back on the last year.  I am not going to lie it has been a really hard year, but I chose the perfect person to have to go through it with.  I love my husband so much, and could not ask for a better person to spend eternity with.  As for the other love in my life, I am still so amazed that I am lucky enough to be this little boys Mom.  I never imagined how much I would truly learn from, and love this fantastic little boy.  Thanks to both of you for such an amazing Birthday, and life that I live with the 2 of you!!!
