Fabulously Thirty & A Fractured Foot

My handsome husband turned 30 on Saturday. I can't believe he is that old, I still think he is 23 like when we got married. We celebrated it the weekend before while MacRae had a sleep over at his Grandparents. I know I say it all the time, but I do love this guy so much. He is amazing at everything he does. He is always so strong and stable, when I am always such a mess. I guess that is why we are such a good match. He has the biggest heart and would do anything you ever asked of him. I love you Sweetheart! Happy Birthday! The day started out with breakfast at Village Inn and then we went to the temple and saw my sweet sister-in-law take out her endowments. What a better place to spend your birthday.
Here is the cake Me and MacRae made.

We ended the night at Stu's parents house for dinner and cake and ice cream. Aren't my Boys Handsome!!!
Cute Grandma Heather also got a pinata for the little kids.

Then just before we were leaving McaRae jumped off of their stairs into their Theatre room (only 2 or 3 stairs), and he started crying when he landed. I picked him up and took him upstairs to have Stu hold him so we could look at his foot. We couldn't see anything, but he also wouldn't walk on it and cried very hard for 30 minutes or so. He never cries longer than 5 min, so we just though he was really tired. We took him home and he went right to sleep and slept all night. The next morning he called for us to get him out of bed, which he never does, he is usually out the second he wakes up. He wouldn't walk on it at all so while I went to Church Stu took him to KidsCare for an X-Ray. They discovered that there is a hairline fracture above his fourth toe, and has to be in a walking cast for 4 weeks.
Well it is day 3 since it happened and he is still not walking on it. He crawls to wherever he needs to go, and where he can't get or when he gets to tired I have to carry him. He still wants to play and tries to be as active as possible, and was golfing the next day. We were so lucky that it wasn't anymore serious than it is. I was so glad that they said we didn't have to cast it as long as he will keep the boot on. I can't imagine going to Hawaii on Sunday with a cast. Hopefully he can walk by Saturday so he can be the ring bearer for Stacy & Ben's Wedding, if not he can always crawl down the aisle. I love this little guy so much, and it is so hard to see him in pain. We should have known that we were in for a wild ride with this one, after the way he came into the world. Not very many kids ride in an ambulance before they are born, when they are 2 and have a broken foot before 3. After it is all said and done, he is worth every minute of it, and there is never a dull moment in our home.
