We have been wanting to go through the temple open house ever since we heard about it. We were a little nervous about taking MacRae with us, but every time he sees the temple when we drive by he gets so excited and asks to go in. So we decided to take him with us, and just go with our little family of 3. He surprised us, by being so incredibly good. His little face would light up every time he saw a picture of Jesus, and would have to make sure we all saw it. He loved the stairs, and there were a lot of them, so he only got to walk on a few. After we walked through we went and saw the fountains, and let MacRae play in them. It was such a beautiful temple. I could feel the spirit the second we walked through the door. We have been struggling with some things lately, and being there helped me find the comfort and faith that I have been lacking. I am so blessed to be able to be sealed to my wonderful husband, and sweet son for eternity. When I stop and remember to think about that, it makes everything else so much more manageable.
