It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This

This is the sweetest little boy I have ever known. I waited, and went through so much to finally hold him in my arms. When I finally became pregnant I knew from the very beginning that it would be a boy. I just never imagined how much I would truly love him. Every morning he wakes up, he calls for "Mommy", and every morning it melts my heart. He has so much trust and faith in me. All I had to do to earn it was make the decision to bring him into my home. I honestly can't get enough of him, I would rather be with him then away from him. He started out as such a calm, laid back little baby that just wanted to be cuddled and kissed. Now he has become an active toddler, that loves to play and laugh, and talk your ear off. (Wonder where he got that from?) Some off his favorite words or phrases are: lawnmower, football, basketball, bee-bee (binky), no, I don't know, one more, gram-gram, papa, and waffles.

I am amazed every day at how smart he is. He loves to do any little job that you will let him, and some that you won't. He puts makeup on and flat irons his hair every day with Mommy. His favorite thing is anything that drives. He loves to sit on your lap, and steer around the block with his Daddy. (I promise we are not Britney Spears.) He loves to read books, just like his Mom. His favorite's right now is Ten Monkeys, and Go Dog Go. He loves any kind of animal, especially his brother Stoggie. We are not sure how much Stoggie loves him, but he at least puts up with the wrestling, teasing with toys, and q-tips in his ears. If Stoggie doesn't come into with us to get him out of bed, he goes through the dog door to look for him.

MacRae is always happy. He loves to kiss and hug everyone, and sing little songs. He would play outside for hours, no matter what the weather was. I know we will all be glad when it is warm outside. When I look at how big he has gotten I can't believe how little he once was. It is hard sometimes to be a stay-at-home mom, but I don't know anything that is more rewarding. I know I am doing something right when my son points to pictures of Jesus, and can say his name, and knows he is. We have been blessed an amazing, healthy little boy. I hope some day we will be blessed, with at least one more.

He is a beautiful boy. You bring tears to my eyes! I struggled to get my last baby here - and he was SO worth the wait.

So sweet! Everytime I think about what you went through to have your little guy it helps me remember not to take my kids for granted!

I agree with Bekah, I feel so spoiled in getting Robbie so easily when I see how others struggle, it helps me realize they are all miracles and that I need to enjoy every moment with them.

You are such a good mommy. I love reading posts like this. THe one's where after a day of H$%^ with the kids, something simple happens to make you realize just how precious they are and just how awesome the role of mom is. He is such a cute boy. I hope he never loses those curls! And I hope you have another one soon!! ;)

He is very, very cute. LOVE his hair.

And thanks for Mom-ing my kid in nursery when someone sits in his chair and it is apparently the worst thing that has ever happened to him.
