The week before
Christmas we went to a family party with the Tripp family. All our Aunts, Uncles, and cousins were there, over a hundred of them. We had dinner, played a little basketball, and saw Santa. The moment
MacRae saw
Santa he was terrified, he kept asking to "Go." We made him sit on his lap and he cried the entire time. I felt bad, but at least he got a remote control car for all his tears.

Christmas Eve we went to my parents, had dinner, opened gifts, and watched a movie on Christ. It was so cute because
MacRae knows who Jesus is, so he kept pointing to him every time he saw him. Christmas day was so fun. We all slept til 9am and then got up and ate breakfast. We then asked
MacRae if he wanted to open gifts. He was so excited. He would crawl under the tree and pull all of them out. When he would open them he would pull a
piece off and throw it, and then go back for more. He was so excited about everything he got and would say "Wow", and just stare at it for a
minute before he went to the next one. About 20 minutes after he got done opening all his gifts, he went and played with all his old toys. I should have just wrapped them up, and saved some money. This is only his second
Christmas, but he has mastered how to open presents.

We ended the day at the
Flockharts for dinner and more gifts. Here is
MacRae and his "
PaPa" wearing there cracker crowns eating dinner. It is such a fun tradition, that they do every year. I realized this holiday season how lucky we are to have such an amazing, large family.
MacRae will grow up with so many people that love him, and we are lucky enough to live close to most of them.
